In December alone, my country's fuel cell vehicle sales totaled 1,249, up 230.4% year-on-year and 70.9% month-on-month, setting a record high for a single month.

According to statistics, from 2018 to 2022, the sales volume of fuel cell vehicles in my country was 687, 3188, 1500, 1881 and 5009 respectively.

The split data showed that in 2022, Yutong fuel cell vehicles ranked first in cumulative sales, accounting for 16%, reaching 804 vehicles; Beiqi Foton ranked second in cumulative sales, accounting for 13%, reaching 659 vehicles; Foshan Feichi fuel cell vehicles ranked third in cumulative sales, accounting for 11%, reaching 538 vehicles.

Fuel cell system companies are ranked by company statistics; from January to December, Yihuatong, Reshape and Guangdong Hongli ranked the top three in sales, reaching 946/859/593 vehicles respectively, accounting for 19%/17%/12% respectively.

It is worth mentioning that hydrogen fuel passenger cars will start to show their potential in 2022. Various car companies are also working hard on fuel cell passenger cars.

To promote the market promotion of hydrogen fuel cell companies, it is necessary to reduce the promotion costs. How to reduce costs is the key. From the perspective of the price of hydrogen used in domestic hydrogen car demonstration projects, there are large differences between different regions. In some regions, the price of hydrogen can reach about 35 yuan/kg after adding subsidies, while in some regions it is above 75 yuan/kg. How to reduce the price of hydrogen? In the short term, government subsidies are a booster for price reduction. In the long run, scale is the main driving force for price reduction. It is necessary to diversify hydrogen production and expand the source of hydrogen.
